McLeod Farms, family owned and operated since 1916 offers fresh fruits and vegetables year round. We harvest strawberries daily from late March through mid June, and we offer U-Pick from mid April through May.
Peaches are the signature fruit of our farm, with more than 30 varieties produced on over 700 acres. Harvesting begins in late May and peaches are hand picked daily until mid September. During this time we also harvest Sweet Corn, Squash, Cucumbers, Eggplants, Bell Peppers, Okra, Tomatoes, Cantaloupes, Watermelons, Scuppernong and Muscadine Grapes, and Blackberries. Popular Fall products include collards, mustard, turnips, cabbage, and kale along with several varieties of ornamental and cooking pumpkins.
Our U-Pick pumpkin patch is open from late September through early November. Our Local Market is open year round offering jarred products and other seasonal produce. We also have a bakery that serves up Fresh Baked Breads, Cakes, and Pies. Custom arranged Gift Baskets filled with jarred products and bakery goods are made especially for you year round but are especially popular for the Holiday season!
